bcb723 Those Wharflurch songs on this 3-way split were obviously the real deal but definitely also pick up Maul's contribution. "Reclamation: Final Harvest" is as intense as the title sounds - a nearly 14 minute psychedelic doom epic dive into the darkness that makes you dizzy afterwards. Seriously - give me all of that you got.

These odes to the irrational fear of slime are brought to you by THORN, WHARFLURCH, and MAUL: three American death metal bands that have carved out their own stylistic niches for themselves, but sound perfectly complimentarily decrepit abreast. Arizona-based THORN comes in swinging, splashing along thru the sludge with two new tracks of dissonant drips and sickly atmosphere, when Florida swamp dwellers WHARFLURCH drag you back into the mire with 2 new bursts of doom death ballistics and slime boners, so that North Dakota’s own MAUL can crush your slimy skull with one epic 13 minute doomed-out strangle fest. All wrapped up in puketastic art slime from the one and only CLAW//EIGHT! The perfect way to decimate what’s left of this year.
